Musée du Louvre. Paris, France.

The Louvre Museum is a former royal palace located on the right bank of the Seine River. The Louvre was originally built as a fortress in the late 12th and 13th century under Philip II. But it's now home to the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, Code of Hammurabi, and so many more. The Louvre currently holds over 35,000 works of art and 380,000 objects in eight curatorial departments. It's the worlds largest museum and a historic monument in Paris. Last year alone, it was also the world's most visited museum receiving over 8 million visitors. In reality, there are no words to explain this infamous site. You must simply see it for yourself!
