La Granadella is an exotic turquoise watered beach in the town of Javea on the Costa Blanca of Spain. The water is crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling or diving. The views this beach provide are flawless. It is packed with mostly locals because it is so hard to get to. After a few attempts on the drive down with failed google maps, we started to become a bit frustrated. The drive here is worth it, IF you come prepared. This beach gives you a touch of Spain and has been left au naturelle. The beach also offers kayaking and rafting that you can be entertained with. After a warm swim in the luscious water, we had deemed our 1.5 hour journey worthy. One thing I will add is just WATCH OUT for parking! There are very little spots available and the Spanish police are waiting patiently to write tickets & tow cars. So, if you're ever interested in visiting this gift from mother nature, come prepared with at least five essentials. 1.) SPF 2.)beach chairs 3.)aqua socks 4.)goggles 5.)towels and you will not regret it.
