Back in Asia. Back to the smiling faces, the leisurely lifestyle, friendly strangers and green jungles. Where service ends in a happy head bow and just about anything goes. Bangkok is the first Asian capital city I've ever seen and I was blown away in a matter of hours. The rooftop bars are higher, the piña colada's are stronger , and they give Green Thai Curry a whole another meaning. Upon arriving at the lovely Amara on Surawong Road, we were greeted with fresh melon juice and an early checkin. (We love our early checkins. Ha!) The friendly staff showed us to our room and then sent us off on our merry way. This hotel had colorful local entertainment and shopping galore surrounding it's glossy exterior. After a long night out, the fresh colorful breakfast served with a smile made for a perfect start to our day.
