31 Cheesehouse, Vinho. Faro, Portugal.

I have never featured a restaurant before but felt obliged when we stumbled upon this lovely little family-owned hidden gem in Faro. Even though we shuffled in a little late, the family welcomed us with open arms and a smile. We sat down in mismatched chairs carefully placed along a row of handmade tables. My better half mumbled out a few things on the menu to our waiter and before I knew it we were presented with coconut oil sweet potato fries, sea salted peppers, and homemade goats cheese with walnuts and honey all washed down with rose wine straight from Portugal. It was absolutely refreshing to delight our tastebuds with their home cooked delicacies. Although this restaurant is still new it has already earned a spot at #27 out of #245 restaurants on Trip Advisor. Aside from the food, the owners are sweet souls. If we are ever back in Portugal, we'll be sure to make another appearance! Until then I will be dreaming of their goats cheese and honey...
