Venice, Italy.

Venice is one of the world's most iconic cities and it meets an astonishing 20 million visitors each year! The capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region is built on more than 100 small islands in a marshy lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. Its stone palaces seemingly rise out of the water. There are no cars or roadways, just canals and boats. We traveled by boat or foot to get around. Venice is exactly how it looks in paintings. It's carefully created like it would have been with a water brush. The water is a beautiful aqua color that makes all of the homes overlooking the sea even more colorful.
